50/50 Draws Supporting Habitat Family Placements
We are grateful to everyone who participated in our recent 50/50 draws, helping advance Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington’s work toward placing more families into safe, affordable homes.
Our online Together We Build 50/50 draw raised a total of $6,525 in support of future Habitat family placements. The winning ticket belonged to Bonnie, who learned about the draw after welcoming our Kitchen Salvage team into her home. As her kitchen was carefully dismantled and diverted from landfill, Bonnie saw firsthand how Habitat programs connect community generosity with long term housing impact.
In addition, our in store ReStore 50/50, held across both the Guelph and Fergus ReStores, raised an impressive $8,040. Congratulations to first place winner Judy, who took home half the pot, and to second place winner Lori, who won a hot air balloon ride for two. Both Judy and Lori are regular ReStore shoppers!
Every ticket purchased directly supports Habitat’s ability to partner with families on the path to affordable homeownership. We thank all participants for helping turn small actions into meaningful housing outcomes.
