The ReStore is a retail business selling new and gently used furniture, home decor items, appliances, kitchen cabinets, antiques, building supplies, and more. We operate two ReStores in our area – Guelph and Fergus. Our ReStores are proudly owned and operated by Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington.

Shop at the ReStore

The ReStore is an amazing place to shop! Every visit to the ReStore is different, and every purchase helps support our home-building projects in our community. As a Habitat ReStore customer, you can save on purchases of furniture, appliances, renovation materials, flooring, lighting, cabinetry, kitchen and bath fixtures, and much more!

More importantly, when you shop at one of our Habitat ReStores in our area, you’re also helping to improve and strengthen your community by supporting Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington’s mission to help individuals and families in our community build a better life through affordable housing.

Online shopping is available on our Guelph and Fergus ReStore Facebook pages. Please contact our stores by phone to purchase, and pick up your purchase at our Donation Centre (back door) entrance, during business hours.

Follow our ReStores on Facebook (Guelph and Fergus) and on Instagram to stay up to date on sales, promotions, new stock and more!

Donate to the ReStore

Moving or downsizing and have items you no longer need? Planning a renovation? Is it time to de-clutter? Instead of tossing your unwanted items, donate them to the Habitat ReStore and do something good for your community and the environment!

When you donate items to our ReStores, you’re helping Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington provide affordable housing opportunities to families in need of a safe, decent and affordable place to call home. You’re also helping the environment by recycling perfectly reusable household items and providing them with a second home, reducing your environmental footprint!

We gratefully accept donations of new and gently used household items that are clean and in working order. Please visit our Donation Centres in Guelph and Fergus during our posted business hours.

We also offer a free pick-up service to make donating to the ReStore easy!

This service is recommended for large or multi-item donations. It is important that donations be easily accessible and following current safety protocols (i.e. outside the home – utilizing porches, driveways, lobbies and garages whenever possible).

Renovating your kitchen? Donate your “before” kitchen to the Habitat ReStore!

Contact us today to discuss your kitchen project. Our Kitchen Salvage Volunteer Team will carefully remove your original kitchen for free.

But wait, there’s more! We also offer a way for electronic items, scrap metal, and smaller household items to be disposed of in a way that benefits you, Habitat for Humanity, and the environment!

While optional, we ask that you consider making a monetary donation upon completion of our services to help us cover the various costs involved in offering these free services, ensuring more resources can be directed to our home building efforts in the community.

Please note: Due to precautionary measures around COVID-19, please be aware that we are following proper health and safety measures during your Drop Off/Pick-Up/Kitchen Salvage/Delivery visit,  in order to keep our donors, shoppers, staff, and volunteers safe.
