Donate to the ReStore

Thank you for choosing the Habitat ReStore! Your donations are vital to the success of Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington.

We gratefully accept donations of new and gently used household items that are clean and in working order. Please review the list of items below for examples of what we can and cannot accept.

Did you know? You can bring in your donation at the receiving door at either of our two ReStores (Guelph and Fergus) during our posted Donation Centre hours. We also offer a free pick-up service for large donations! Tax receipts available.

To book our pick-up service, please click “schedule your pick-up” below, or reach out to us at  dispatch@habitatgw.ca or 519-767-9752 x26 for more information. Within this form, you can provide information on the items you would like to donate by selecting from our pre-populated list.

We ask that you consider making an optional monetary donation upon completion of your successful pick-up to help us cover the various costs involved in offering this free service.

Public health notes:

As a precaution related to public health in order to keep our donors, shoppers, staff, and volunteers safe, we are following health and safety measures during your drop-off/pick-up/kitchen salvage visit.

For your safety and the safety of our team, we ask that your donation be located in an area accessible to our team such as a ground-level curb, garage, porch, driveway, lobby, storage room, storage unit, warehouse, or furniture showroom. Please reach out to us to discuss your situation so that we can serve you safely and effectively.

Kitchen salvage: We endeavour to provide excellent service, and will do so under the following precautions: 1) There is no public health emergency order in place, 2) there is no identified illness, or exposure to illness, among the residents or contractors involved. Please share any concerns you have with our kitchen salvage coordinator at dispatch@habitatgw.ca.
