Donate to the ReStore

Thank you for choosing the Habitat ReStore! Your donations are vital to the success of Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington. We gratefully accept donations of new and gently used household items that are clean and in working order. Please review the list of items below for examples of what we can and cannot accept.

By donating your used items, you’ll be helping the environment by diverting usable goods from the landfill. Plus you’ll be contributing to the effort to build affordable housing for local families at the same time – you can be confident that your donation is going to support your local Habitat for Humanity.

Donation Drop-off

You may bring in your donation at the receiving door at either of our two ReStores (Guelph and Fergus) during the posted hours. We also offer pick-up service for donations over a certain value! Tax receipts available.

Free Donation Pickup

This service is recommended for large or multi-item donations. It is important that donations be easily accessible and following current safety protocols (i.e. outside the home – utilizing porches, driveways, lobbies and garages whenever possible).

We ask that you consider making an optional monetary donation upon completion of your successful pick-up to help us cover the various costs involved in offering this free service.

Donation Bins

Did you know that our ReStores can also take your donations of clothing and other small household items? Donation bins are available to accept clothing, shoes, bedding, toys, books, kitchenware, drapes, purses, and many more household items!

Donation bins are available around the back of the Guelph ReStore and inside our Fergus ReStore warehouse.
