Thank you for choosing the Habitat ReStore! Your donations are vital to the success of Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington.
We gratefully accept donations of new and gently used household items that are clean and in working order. Please review the list of items below for examples of what we will or will not accept.
Did you know? You can drop off your donation at the receiving doors at either of our two ReStores (Guelph and Fergus) during our posted Donation Centre hours. We also offer a free pick-up service!
To book our pick-up service, please click “schedule your pick-up” below, or reach out to us at dispatch@habitatgw.ca or 519-767-9752 x26 for more information. Within this form, you can provide information on the items you would like to donate by selecting from our pre-populated list.
While optional, we ask that you consider making a monetary donation upon completion of your successful pick-up to help us cover the various costs involved in offering this free service.
As a precaution related to COVID-19, please be aware that we are following health and safety measures during your Drop-Off/Pick-Up/Kitchen Salvage visit, in order to keep our donors, shoppers, staff, and volunteers safe.
For your safety and the safety of our team, we are currently unable to enter a private residence in order to pick up your donation. We ask that your donation be located in an area accessible to our team such as a curb, garage, driveway, lobby, storage room, storage unit, warehouse, or furniture showroom. Please reach out to us to discuss your situation so that we can serve you effectively.
Kitchen salvage exception: We endeavour to provide an excellent kitchen salvage service, and will do so under the following precautions: 1) There is no public health emergency order in place, 2) there is no identified illness, or exposure to illness, among the residents or contractors involved, and 3) the donor and any contractors/other individuals vacate the premises during the service being provided. Please share any concerns you have with our kitchen salvage coordinator at dispatch@habitatgw.ca.
Drop off your donation at one of our pop-up Donation Stations!
We want to make it easier for you to donate items you no longer need to the ReStore! Bring any eligible items you would like to donate, as long as they are gently used, in good shape, and still functional. (Check out the list of items we accept below.) You will be greeted by ReStore staff and volunteers, and you’ll be offered a tax receipt for eligible items. We will load up our truck and bring your donation back to the ReStore for you!
