We are looking for land!

In order to meet the need in our community for affordable housing, we need to continuously be looking for the next big opportunity. To ensure this, Habitat GW is building a land and property inventory. Do you have property/land to offer and would like to discuss future build opportunities?

Habitat ReStore News

Did you know? Every purchase you make helps to build safe and affordable housing in our community. In addition to this, you are making an environmentally conscious choice to extend the life of many items donated by our generous supporters.

Donation Stations are back! …and there’s one coming to a location near you!

We want to make it easier for you to donate items you no longer need to the ReStore! Bring any eligible items you would like to donate, as long as they are gently used, in good shape, and in working order to our Donation Station! You will be greeted by ReStore staff and volunteers, and you’ll be offered a tax receipt for eligible items. We will load up our truck and bring your donation back to the ReStore for you!

Dates & Locations …

Thank you for choosing to shop our ReStores this past year. Every purchase you make helps to build safe and affordable housing in our community. In addition to this, you are making an environmentally conscious choice to extend the life of many items donated by our generous community.

Capacity limits, social distancing and face coverings are enforced both inside and at all entrances for the safety and well-being of our shoppers, volunteers and staff.

UPCOMING IN MAY: Mark your calendars for the “Re:Purpose Fest”

Our Guelph ReStore will be hosting the Re:Purpose Fest with the Guelph Tool Library on May 28th from 11 am to 2 pm. Described as a free community recycling festival, there will be a variety of community initiatives present that help repair, re-home, reuse, and recycle household goods. A full list of activities and accepted items will be available May 1 so stay tuned!
